The service

UMARIX PDF provides free online PDF tools. The tools are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Always check a converted or edited file before relying on it or sending it to someone else — in particular, Word-to-PDF conversions can shift formatting, and a forgotten PDF password cannot be recovered.

Fair use and limits

PDFs are limited to 50 MB and 500 pages per file, images to 20 files of 20 MB each, and Word files to 10 MB. You must not use the service to abuse, overload or attack it, to process files you have no right to use, or to circumvent the stated limits. We may rate-limit abusive traffic.

Your files

You remain responsible for the files you process. Browser tools never receive your files. Server tools (Word to PDF, Protect PDF) hold a file only for the single conversion and delete it immediately afterwards, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, UMARIX PDF is not liable for loss arising from use of the free tools, including from a file that converts imperfectly or a password that is forgotten. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
